Sports Day 2024 - 2025 at HiAST School, Hyderabad

The HiAST Hyderabad offers education from Royal Cedar Montessori (RCM) to the undergraduate program, including BBA and CS, organized the Sports Day 2025 on 11th February 2025 at the Afzaal ground. HiAST College Hyderabad recently brought its campus to life with the excitement and energy of School Sports Day 2025. 

The ceremony began with a warm welcome by Ms. Fariyal and Ms. Muskan with energy and grace. The sports day event brought together students, teachers, and the HiAST faculty. The day began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Shaikh Abdullah, from Grade 5, the confident voice brought a peaceful start to the morning. Then, next, Mustafa Vohra, from Grade 5, translation presented, allows the audience to reflect on the message of faith and unity. Afterward, the crowd joined in full voice, as Abrish, from Grade 3, led the National Anthem. It was a moment of unity and pride, reflecting the values taught at HiAST, which are also deeply embedded in schools in Hyderabad, Pakistan, that aim to build responsible, patriotic citizens. After the heartwarming opening ceremony, the badminton match was one of the parts of Sports Day 2025 where Shaikh Abdullah from Grade 5 truly stood out and won the segment.


With steady focus and speed, he played with confidence beyond his years and secured a well-deserved win. The real excitement of School Sports Day 2025 at HiAST School, Hyderabad began as our Grade 1 to 5 little champs took over the field. Their energy, laughter, and competitive spirit lit up the grounds and reminded everyone why HiAST is counted among the Best schools in Hyderabad, Pakistan, and a leader in promoting balanced education among schools in Hyderabad, Sindh. The races kicked off with the delightful Orange Peel Race, where Hareem emerged as the winner with impressive balance and speed. The crowd cheered on as Ahmed from Grade 2 showed great determination in the Sac Race, bouncing his way to the finish line. In the Girl’s Flat Race, Rameen, grade 2, took the lead and got first position. In the Boys’ Flat Race, Haram from grade 2 won with speed and focus. These events reflected the spirit of striving for excellence, a value deeply rooted in schools in Hyderabad, Pakistan, and carried forward by HiAST.


Next, in the thrilling Backpack Race, Anabiya, grade 1, outperformed her peers and got the winner’s spot. The event ended with the Tug of War, filled with shouts, laughter, and strength, where team Meekail, grade 2, won this exciting contest, showing great teamwork and coordination. Next came the colorful and lively Bean Bag Race, where Eshal showed both precision and speed as she claimed the top spot. The cheering echoed through the campus, that created a festive environment that reminded everyone why events like these are so vital in schools in Hyderabad, Sindh. Another fun-filled race was the Three-Legged Race. Amna and Abrish from grade 4 teamed up and worked together and won the race. Their strong teamwork is something HiAST proudly nurtures in every student. The football match at HiAST’s Sports Day 2025 brought a whole new level of excitement to the field.  Team A took control of the game with smart plays and strong coordination.


The winning team featured a lively mix of players from different grades: Faaz and Hassan Hamid from Grade 4, Noor Fatima from Grade 3, Abiha from Grade 5, Anzar, Eshal Fatima, and Umama from Grade 4, and Lawaniya, Saad, Mustafa, and another Abiha from Grade 5. The Sac Race brought loads of laughter and excitement. Azaan,  grade 4, with his confident jumps and firm focus, secured the first position. Then, the energetic Tunnel Ball Race for Girls from Grade 5, where teamwork took the spotlight. The girls, Lawaniya, Abiha, Zainab, Barira, Mahira, and Abeera, worked together in coordination and showed how games build bonds beyond the classroom. The next highlight was the cricket match of Sports Day 2025 at HiAST, and it definitely lived up to the excitement. Shaikh Abdullah from Grade 5 led Team B, and  played with incredible focus, and teamwork, and their efforts paid off as they won the match. The winning team was a brilliant mix of students from across grades: Afreen, Mustafa, and Affan from Grade 5. Mustafa, Hassan, and Zoyan from Grade 3. Meekail from Grade 2, and Hussain, Faaz, and Azaan from Grade 4. 


Together, they showed how powerful teamwork can be when everyone supports one another and plays to their strengths. Not to be outdone, the boys stepped in for their own Tunnel Ball Race, and it was pure fun from start to finish. Players like Moosa, Sahil, Faaz, Hussain, Umer, and Azaan, from grade 4, won the competition. Later, the Staple Chase was a favorite among the crowd for its mix of fun and challenge. Hussain and Faiz emerged as the winners, showing a great mix of strategy and stamina. After a while, Faaz raced his way to a clean victory in the Flat Race. And of course, no sports day is complete without a classic Tug of War. This time, Team A, led by Anzar, pulled together with power and unity to win the match, drawing wild cheers from students and teachers alike. The joy, the laughter, and the friendly rivalry were more than a game. It was a memory in the making. At HiAST, such events are part of a larger vision to raise confident, capable individuals who shine both in books and on the field. Winners from each race, from Shaikh Abdullah’s powerful badminton performance to Azaan’s bold finish in the sac race to Team Anzar’s thrilling tug of war victory, were called on stage to receive their medals and certificates. The proud faces of students like Eshal, Faaz, Anabiya, Amna, Abrish, Hussain, Faiz, and many others lit up the moment. But more importantly, every participant received appreciation for showing courage, discipline, and school spirit, a value HiAST holds dear as one of the most holistic schools in Hyderabad, Sindh. After a full morning of running, racing, cheering, and celebrating, the lunch break was a welcome and well-deserved pause. Students, teachers, and parents gathered in shaded areas across the campus to relax and share meals. While our students stole the spotlight at HiAST’s School Sports Day 2025, none of it would have been possible without the dedicated efforts of our incredible HiAST school faculty. Our teachers and staff poured their energy into planning, organizing, and managing every part of the day.
