HiAST School Milaad 2024 - Naat & Speech Competition in Hyderabad

The HiAST School and Royal Cedar Montessori (RCM) community organized HiAST Milaad 2024, Naat & Speech Competition with a themes of Milad-un-Nabi, Held on the 10th of May, the event showcased the talents of students from Grades I to V, as they delivered heartfelt Naats, speeches in English, Urdu, and Sindhi, along with recitations, translations, and Durood Shareef from 8:30 till 10:00 am. HiAST not only ranks among the best schools in Hyderabad, Pakistan, but also plays a vital role in shaping responsible, spiritually aware individuals. The program began with comparing by Barrirah Khan and Abrish Raheel from Grades IV and V, as they engaged the audience for the event. Right after, Shohzeb from Grade V took the stage for Quran recitation, with his clear voice and respectful presence showing just how deeply connected he was to the words he was reciting.
A Spiritually Enriching Morning at HiAST School
The day began with a heartwarming performance from M. Saad of Grade 5, who shared translations of Quranic verses to connect the audience with their deeper meaning. His recitation reminded everyone of the importance of understanding these verses in daily life. This was followed by a heartfelt Hamd performance by M. Ifrahim of Grade I. His powerful voice touched the hearts of the audience with a sense of purity and devotion to the event. Next, wrapping up the segment, Eshaal Noman from Grade IV recited an expressive Dua and its translation, making the moment deeply moving. Her expressive voice felt peaceful, and the audience felt connected with the moment.
The Naat competition then began with recitations. Ahmed Vohra from Grade I opened with a heartfelt Naat. Muhammad Faaz (Grade IV) and Tunjina Amjad (Grade V) followed with touching performances, leaving a lasting impact. The spiritual rhythm resumed with another Naat performance by Zehra Noor, whose devotion was evident in every verse she recited. Next, Alaifa Asher took the stage with an Urdu speech, speaking her words with clarity and emotion, beautifully honoring the life of the Prophet (P.B.U.H.). Safwa Bilal, also from Grade I, then impressed the audience with her confident and well-spoken English speech. To round off this segment, Muhammad Ahmed from Grade II recited a melodious Naat, further adding to the soulful atmosphere of the event. These performances by the youngest students were not only endearing but also inspiring, showcasing their growing confidence and deepening spiritual awareness at such an early age.
HiAST Junior School Students Shine with Speeches and Soulful Naats
As the program moved forward, the stage welcomed students from Grades II and III, each bringing their unique energy and devotion to the event. Meekail from Grade II confidently delivered an English speech, impressing the audience with his expressive delivery, followed by Zehra Fatima, whose soft and soulful Naat echoed beautifully, drawing everyone into a moment of deep spiritual reflection. Carrying forward the energy of heartfelt expression, Rameen Raheel stepped up with her Urdu speech, clearly expressing her thoughts and paying tribute to the noble character of the Prophet (P.B.U.H.).
Abrish Ali, grade 3, graced the stage with a Naat, her composed presence and heartfelt recitation adding to the sanctity of the event. This was followed by a confident English speech by Zoyan Ahmed, who delivered his message with clarity and strength beyond his years. Finally, Noor Fatima from Grade III concluded this segment with a soulful Naat, her gentle tone and sincere expression wrapping the audience. The dedicated faculty of HiAST Junior School played a vital role, guiding their preparation, encouraging their creativity, and building their confidence. The program continued with speeches and Naats from students of Grades III to V, Arib Ali from Grade III delivered an Urdu speech with admirable fluency, highlighting the timeless teachings of the Prophet (P.B.U.H.) in a manner that resonated with the audience.

Another wholesome moment came when students from the Royal Cedar Montessori (RCM) gathered on stage to collectively recite Durood Shareef. Their unified voices and expressions filled the hall with an air of peace and purity, creating a deeply moving moment. Following this, Muhammad Faaz from Grade IV recited a Naat with heartfelt devotion, then Eshaal Ali, also from Grade IV, gave a powerful English speech, confidently sharing reflections on the Prophet’s character and how his life continues to inspire. A lively cultural addition came with Abeera Memon from Grade V, who delivered a passionate speech in Sindhi, showcasing the school’s celebration of linguistic and regional diversity. The spiritual rhythm resumed with Muhammad Umar’s soul-stirring Naat from Grade IV, followed by Anna, who presented an Urdu speech with grace and thoughtful expression. This segment was a wonderful blend of languages, talents, and heartfelt tributes that truly honored the spirit of Rabi-ul-Awwal.
Little Voices, Big Impact: A Heartfelt Tribute in Durood and Naat
The senior students from grade 5, presented their final performances, Tunjina Amjad recited a deeply touching Naat, her gentle tone adding a serene close to the recitation segment. Concluding the lineup of speeches was Mahira Farooqui, who confidently stepped forward to deliver an English speech. These final performances marked a graceful and memorable end to the competition, leaving the audience spiritually uplifted. Milaad 2024 at HiAST School and Royal Cedar Montessori was far more than a competition it was a celebration of faith, unity, and youthful expression. Every performance, from recitation of Naats to powerful speeches in English, Urdu, and Sindhi, reflected the students’ heartfelt devotion. The morning left the audience spiritually uplifted, emotionally touched, and deeply impressed by the confidence and clarity with which even the youngest students expressed themselves.
