The HiAST Hyderabad campus came alive on 16th August 2025 with the much-anticipated HiAST Fest. With exciting stalls, food and drinks, arts and crafts, jewelry displays, gaming zones with PS5, and a thrilling haunted house, the event began around 5 PM. Moreover, the grand cake-cutting ceremony marked HiAST’s 24th year, with a fireworks display that lit up the night sky. The audience enjoyed every moment, making HiAST Fest 2025 a truly memorable celebration.
The Evening Begins: HiAST Fest Comes Alive With Music, Fun, and Festivities
As a part of the HiAST’s 24th year celebration, a plantation drive was organized for the Board of Directors. Each director planted a tree within the HiAST campus, showing the institute’s commitment to a greener future. This meaningful activity not only showed HiAST’s dedication to quality education but its responsibility toward the environment. This made the anniversary even more memorable. The event was not limited to current students; alumni, parents, and even outsiders from the community were welcomed to join in the celebrations. The students, faculty, and visitors explored the stalls set up across the venue at the HiAST Fest’25 as the evening began. As the visitors walked in, colorful pennant banners danced overhead, while warm fairy lights wrapped around trees added a magical glow to the garden setting. The background music ensured a perfect rhythm for laughter and conversations. Moreover, for undergrad students, these stalls were more than just entertainment, as this was part of a marked assignment for HiAST’s undergraduate students. The students stepped beyond their textbooks to gain real-life entrepreneurial experience. While running their stalls, they got to know about budgeting, pricing, sales, and customer engagement, all while being evaluated on their performance. Whether it’s food, jewelry, gaming, or art, each stall became a small startup where participants practiced customer service, pricing, and marketing.
HiAST Fest 2025- Stalls That Brought HiAST Fest To Life
The participants showed creativity through art, handmade crafts, and jewelry. On the other hand, the crowd admired handmade jewelry, art showcases, and tried their luck at exciting games. With a total of 42 participants who eagerly signed up to take part, there were a total of 14 stalls. The students stepped forward with their own creative ideas to bring this fest to life. As visitors explored the fest, they were drawn to the stall filled with handmade jewelry, crochet flowers, and creative display items. Among many other stalls, Art Corner by Fadil and Ayesha stood out, showcasing the creativity of our young artists. The guests admired the intricate details of handmade paintings, on-spot crafted flowers, bracelets, and a variety of creative items.
Moreover, at the Charmed Flam stall, students offered two handmade products, including scented candles and beaded bracelets. These creative items showed the hard work and talent of the participants. They proudly explained their work, while guests stopped to admire, ask questions, and pick out their favorite pieces. The visitors also gather around to enjoy the variety of food items, as well, since no fest is complete without food. The Sugar Nest X Sajawat Box brought homemade treats and handmade crafts. The One Minute Masters & Pizza Hub, serving hot, cheesy pizzas fresh out of the oven, the stall quickly became a favorite spot for visitors. With their fast service and delicious flavors, the students behind the stall not only satisfied hungry crowds but got experience in managing sales, teamwork, and customer service. Our young grade school students also came forward with their stall, featuring tasty chowmein, dal papdi, and gajrey.
The Juicy Vibes served milkshakes that were both delicious and healthy. With refreshing flavors like Banana, Mango, Oreo, Dates, and Dry Fruits, the stall was all about combining taste with nutrition. Another favorite among food lovers was Chipsplosion, a small snack business offering crunchy chips with creative seasonings, adding tangy onions to a mix of sauces and seasonings. Every bag was personalized for flavor. Another exciting attraction at the fest was The Gold Bar Challenge. Designed to test both skill and strategy, it drew in crowds of students, families, and friends eager to try their luck. Moreover, at the HiAST Fest, the grade 6 students Zainab, Abiha, Arfeen, Saad, Sheikh Abdullah, and Sozaib set up a lively game room. With fun activities like Dakchi, Bowling, and Throw a Ring, the stall offered simple yet exciting games.

The visitors lined up eagerly to get their turn on the console, while friends gathered around to cheer and enjoy the matches on screen. Now, here’s where it gets exciting as HiAST Fest visitors stepped into the haunted house with curiosity, ready for a thrilling adventure. As they moved through the spooky setup, every corner brought new surprises that kept them engaged. HiAST worked hard behind the scenes to make the haunted house a success, ensuring the experience was both fun and memorable. Meanwhile, the gaming area offered the perfect escape for those who wanted competitions with games; it gave visitors a chance to laugh, connect, and enjoy a well-deserved break.
Building Business Skills Through Real-World Experience- Managing Stalls and Customers
At HiAST Fest 2025, many BBA students turned the event into a practical learning experience about entrepreneurship as they set up their own stalls. The HiAST students planned, organized, and managed sales while interacting with visitors. These stalls were marked assignments for undergrad students, providing a platform for young entrepreneurs to practice their skills they developed in their BBA program. The students engaged in marketing, customer engagement, and teamwork while showcasing their products, artwork, and ideas. In the meantime, students, guests, and faculty came together for the grand cake-cutting ceremony to celebrate HiAST’s 24th year. The Board of Directors came forward to join this special moment, cutting the cake alongside the audience and marking nearly a quarter century of HiAST’s journey with a display of fireworks that lit up the night sky. HiAST proudly marked its 24th year of quality education, continuing its legacy through RCM Montessori, School, College, as well as the BBA and Computer Science programs. At the HiAST Fest 2025, the celebration showed HiAST’s ongoing commitment to nurturing young minds. As the HiAST Fest’25 came to an end, the crowd left with cherished memories, ending the eventful day. It’s a four-year (8-semester) undergraduate program, offered in affiliation with the University of Sindh (UOS).
