Annual Award Ceremony'25 at HiAST Institute Hyderabad
The Annual Award Ceremony for the year 2024-2025 at HiAST School, Hyderabad, was held to celebrate the excellence, resilience, and hard work of our students. The event commenced with comparing by one of our teachers Shiza, the warm and respectful atmosphere reflected the values of discipline, unity, and excellence in education. She welcomed the audience and introduced each segment with clarity and grace. Her presence set a professional tone for the event, marking the beginning of a thoughtful celebration of student effort. A formal welcome note followed, delivered on behalf of HiAST’s leadership. It highlighted the year’s progress and the academy’s ongoing goal to prepare students for the global marketplace through advanced knowledge.
The audience then listened to a recitation from the Holy Quran by our student from grade 3, Ahmed. This was followed by its translation by Hassan Mujtaba, of grade 4, encouraging reflection and purpose among students and guests. Next came the Naat, filling the hall with a sense of spiritual peace, presented in a calm and clear voice by M. Umar Arain from Grade 4. This was followed by the recitation of Asma ul Husna by nine students three each from Grades 2, 3, and 4. led this part, bringing meaning and reflection to the stage. The segment concluded with a dua and its translation, shared by Eshaal Fatima and Hifza from Grade 5, asking for guidance, knowledge, and success for the entire HiAST community. The hall grew quiet and focused as the audience stood for the National Anthem. It reflected a moment of unity and respect reminding all of their shared identity and commitment to the country.

The energy in the room rose as the event moved to the Welcome Tableau, performed by students from the nursery and KG, followed by the uplifting performance of the song “Dreamers.” Students from junior grades lit up the stage with confidence and spirit. Their act reflected not only creativity but also the values HIAST instills in its learners from a young age: discipline, teamwork, and pride in their school. Then, the Merit Certificate Distribution began for Chess and Scrabble winners from Grades 1-5. The young achievers were presented Merit Certificates for their critical thinking and problem-solving skills in the two activities. After the awards, students from Grade 3 performed a lively song performance and sang the popular song “Shakar Wanda.” The audience showed interest with smiles and applause, enjoying the musical rhythm and confidence the students brought to the stage.
The event moved into its next academic highlight with the International Kangaroo Linguistic Contest (IKLC) and International Contest Aptitude Test (ICAT) Award Distribution. These contests are well-known for testing language and reasoning skills on a global level. Students who earned top positions were awarded for their excellence and dedication, showing HiAST’s strong focus on global academic exposure. The segment ended with another cultural performance reflecting HiAST’s balance between academic rigor and creative expression, one of the reasons it stands out in the Hyderabad education events 2025. The celebration continued with a special focus on international language learning. Students presented a Chinese poem, followed by performances related to the Youth Chinese Tests (YCT) 1 and 2. A Chinese song was also performed, showcasing the language skills students have developed through focused learning programs. The winner of the Mehran University Chinese Writing Competition 2025, Mubarak Hussain, was also awarded, bringing pride to the academy and showing strong performance beyond the classroom. High scorers in the International Kangaroo Mathematics Contest (IKMC) and the Famous Students Platform (FSP) science competition were honored for their logical thinking and scientific understanding. The next part of the event highlights global learning and academic excellence. Students who passed their Youth Chinese Test (YCT) 1 and 2 were acknowledged for their success studying the Chinese language. Some students then performed a Chinese song which was a great exhibition of confidence and pronunciation.
Next came the recognition of students who performed well in the International Kangaroo Mathematics Contest (IKMC) and the FSP science competition. These awards honored problem-solving and logical thinking, skills that HIAST continues to develop in every grade. Another tableau followed, bridging academic achievements with cultural expression. One of the proudest moments was the announcement of the Petaro Cadet College Speech Competition Award, presented to Mubarak Hussain at the district level. The winning student made HiAST proud by showing confidence, clarity, and speaking skills. The event ended with a thank-you note delivered by students from grades 2 and 6 to all teachers, parents, students, and guests who made the day meaningful to show gratitude.
